Participation in ICOS

We thank and appreciate questions from Br. Mohamed Nadzri Sazali and Sr. Atikah Zulkefli about participation in ICOS.

For information, ICOS Steering Committee consists of 29 persons; 4 of them are staffs of International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), appointed by Office of the Deputy Dean (Residential Management and Discipline) (RMDD), Centre for Foundation Studies (CFS), IIUM; and the rest are foundation students of IIUM representing all residential college (Mahallah) administered by CFS, IIUM.

In this term,

• 'staffs of IIUM appointed by RMDD, CFS, IIUM' means the principals and fellows of Mahallah administered by CFS, IIUM;
  
  
• 'foundation students of IIUM representing all Mahallah administered by CFS, IIUM' means members of Mahallah Representative Committee (MRC), CFS, IIUM; and
  
  
• 'Mahallah administered by CFS, IIUM' is Mahallah Abu Bakar, Mahallah Umar al-Khattab, Mahallah Fatimah az-Zahra, Mahallah Khadijah, Mahallah Aisyah, Mahallah Zainab al-Jahsyi (IIUM Petaling Jaya) and Mahallah Maryam (IIUM Gombak).

As the programme is conducted by RMDD, only persons-in-duty of RMDD (principals, fellows and MRC members of Mahallah of CFS) and chosen by RMDD are appointed to the Steering Committee. Any questions about participation in ICOS Steering Committee should be conveyed to the Programme Director, Mr. Hasanul Basri Abdullah, as he has full power in deciding members of the ICOS Steering Committee.

However, all are invited to participate in our Charity Dinner and Exhibition that will be held on February and April 2013. (Please refer to Programmes.) All also can contribute through Amal Jariah programme that will be conducted from February until May 2013. On the other words, all are welcome to contribute to ICOS programme in any suitable term.
