ICOS Charity Dinner

In conjunction with International Community Service Programme (ICOS) 2013 organized by the Centre for Foundation Studies (CFS), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Office of the Deputy Dean (Residential Management and Discipline), CFS IIUM will organize ICOS Charity Dinner on Thursday, 28 February 2013, 8.30 pm at al-Malik Faisal (AMF) Hall, CFS IIUM, Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Dean of CFS, Professor Dr. Torla Hj. Hassan, will be the Guest of Honour.

There will be presentation about ICOS by ICOS Director, Mr. Hasanul Basri Abdullah; following by attracting performances with the concept of spirituality of Islam conducted by Sham Kamikaze, Major-9 Team (Champion of the Nasyid Competition, National IPTIM Amal Islami Carnival 2013, from IIUM Petaling Jaya) and Gamelan Group from IIUM Gombak. There also will be meaningful recitation of al-Quran by a Muslim from Cambodia.

The Charity Dinner will be held as the commencement of our efforts to help Muslim community in Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia, to build an education centre – Steug Trang Education Centre – in term of financial support. We now would like to invite respectable Muslims, especially Malaysians, to join us in this Charity Dinner in order to show our international support towards educational development in Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia.
