Main Programme
International Community Service Programme (ICOS) 2013 will be held on 6-11 June 2013 at Kilou Prampir Phum (Kilo 7 Village), Stueng Trang, Kampong Cham, Cambodia.
In conjunction with the project, ICOS Steering Committee will organize some programmes in order to raise fund from local and international Muslim community especially in Malaysia.
Charity Dinner
ICOS Charity Dinner will be organized in effort to tell all Muslims, especially in Malaysia, about conditions in Cambodia in some aspects like lifestyle and educational development. There will be some attracting
performances from noble performers inside and outside the University.
The dinner is expected to be held at al-Malik Faisal Hall, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Petaling Jaya, Selangor, on Thursday, 28 February 2013, with the theme of spiritual; and on Saturday, 6 April 2013, with theme of culture.
Exhibition
ICOS Steering Committee also will organize a multimedia presentation and exhibition with the same purpose, to tell the Muslims about our plan to help Cambodia in developing education of their Muslim community, especially in Kampong Cham Province.
In conjunction with Raudhah Festival (RAFEST) – that will be organized by the Foundation Student Coordination Council (FSCC), IIUM, and all organizations registered with the Office of the Deputy Dean (Student Development) and the Guidance and Counselling Unit, Centre for Foundation Studies, IIUM – that had been officiated by the Rector of IIUM on 17 February 2013, ICOS Steering Committee will open a booth to present our plan to organize ICOS project on 23-24 February 2013. The venue will be decided later.
